This was a period I went through. I constantly painted on top of other paintings. You may be able to make out the woman posed on a stool with dreadlocks.

Degas Copy

Edgar Degas "The Dance Lesson" 1879 Oil on Canvas, in the collection at the National Gallery of Art in DC.
Doing a copy makes you realize the precision that goes into a piece. Degas really was brillant and his sense of ease is impressive.

Green Lamp and La Grande Dame

This tiny little precious painting is now the property of Karma Ward. (the painting I did of the elephant in the background is property of Cheryl Carmona.)

This was a really quick painting that I believe was kicked out in about 30 minutes. Although I had many, many starts that failed and got wiped out.

Just a quick sketch. I really enjoy self portraits that have still lifes in them. Objects we own are so self reflective.
